Inclusive Education Strategies


British Columbia has a policy manual to help inform parents, education workers, and anyone who supports neurodivergent learners. In their manual, they break down what supports are out there for the different designations.

The Provincial Outreach Program for Autistic and Related Disorders (POPARD) is a resource that provides training to schools in order to support those with exceptionalities. POPARD also has different resources for parents to help support transitions through visual schedules and behaviour monitoring.

The Davidson Institute is an accredited institute based out of Nevada. The Davidson Institute has different programs for Gifted Learners in the U.S and Canada. They provide support and resources for parents whose children are accepted into their programs.
